ADM Custom Metal has manufactured precision sheet metal fabrications since 1983. A customer in the production and laboratory furnace industry needed a structural tube and sheet metal base weldment, and our company was contracted to complete the project.

Several types of tubing and sheet steel were used in this fabrication. Expert fabricators created this frame using our punch, press brake, shear, horizontal bandsaw, drill press, and MIG-welding machinery. This weldment was made as the base structure for a separate stainless steel furnace assembly (not shown). As pictured, the completed base measured 54” long, 38” deep, and 40” high, with tightest tolerances of ± 0.010” for the sheet metal components and ± 0.032 for the tubular frame. This unit is put through dimensional and visual inspections after construction and is fully assembled prior to painting. When completed, the base is finished with black polyurethane paint and delivered to our client in New Jersey. This project was completed in its entirety in just three weeks, fully meeting our customer's delivery requirements and dimensional specifications.
