Employing our state-of-the-art punch with emboss tooling, insertion press, press brake, and spot welder, our team of experts fabricated these assemblies from 20 GA cold rolled steel. This product is made up from 5 separate parts which must perfectly fit together when assembled, requiring tight tolerances of ± 0.010”. ADM Custom Metal has manufactured precision sheet metal fabrications since 1983. A customer in the production and laboratory furnace industry needed a structural tube and sheet metal base weldment, and our company was contracted to complete the project.
Several types of tubing and sheet steel were used in this fabrication. Expert fabricators created this frame using our punch, press brake, shear, horizontal bandsaw, drill press, and MIG-welding machinery. This weldment was made as the base structure for a separate stainless steel furnace assembly (not shown). In the project highlighted here, ADM Custom Metal Fabrication was contracted to fabricate a custom electrical enclosure for an industrial equipment manufacturer. Utilizing 12 gauge cold rolled steel, a number of precision processes were performed to create the structure including punching, forming, welding and stud welding. This enclosure had openings in the front and rear, with the challenge to weld the cabinet consistently square so the front hinged doors would open properly and the removable horizontal rear panels would be equally spaced within their openings. At ADM Custom Metal Fabrication, we built the minor ingredient dump station highlighted here for a customer in the industrial conveying equipment industry. Having the right equipment in our shop, and a skilled, detail-oriented workforce enabled us to plan, execute, test, and inspect this assembly within a four week time frame.
Featuring dimensions of 30" in length x 24" in depth x 40" in height, we constructed this dump station from T316 stainless steel materials, including 11 gauge sheet, ½" thick round stock, and ¼" and 3/8" plate. At ADM, we provide premium quality sheet metal fabrication for a variety of customers. This audio/video conference control center enclosure was fabricated for an audio visual equipment rack mount manufacturer. The enclosure measures 48” in length, 44” in height, and is 34” deep. It is made up of 14 and 16 gauge cold rolled steel that was powder coated after fabrication. The front doors shown hinge open and slide into pockets when the equipment is in use. A roll top front is lockable for security and recedes into the back of the cabinet for storage.
